Kahlua: the original Cat Dash

The Cat's Process is really the result of many of my passions mashed together into one awesome furry ball. As an avid long distance runner, I was looking for a companion to run with on a weekly basis. I've never been a big dog person, but was a bit envious of other early morning runners who jogged along with their canines. Enter, my cat Kahlua; she was the Bonnie to my Clyde, the cookies to my milk. And so, over time, I developed the Cat's Process with the hopes I could take my furry friend along with me for a run.

It took me roughly 8 weeks, to get Kahlua to follow along and have the strength to pull off a 5KM run, and another 8 weeks to halve her original time.

After a while, other runners took notice, some even stopped me to ask questions. Friends and family became increasingly curious and some even opted to learn how to run because all of a sudden they could bring along their beloved fur ball. It was an amazing mewment – pardon the pun. At first I gave classes and sent out emails and then eventually developed this online guide for you.
